The Deadbeats bring the music of the Grateful Dead to Grass Valley Brewing Co. Deadbeats formed during the Summer of 1994 on the notion they could pull off some reasonable Grateful Dead covers. Soon it was apparent the band was on to something, a certain indefinable sound and feel that really captures the essence of a Dead show.
Though band members have come and gone over the years, Tom Menig and Gary Campus have remained the core of the band, providing a solid continuity to the Deadbeat sound.
The current Deadbeats line up includes Tom Menig, Eric Menig, Gary Campus, Rob Kopp, Peter Wilson, Jenn Knapp and Glenn Tucker.
