Live Music – Big Iron

Big Iron delivers “100-Proof Honky-Tonk” which can best be described as a high-energy, vintage Bakersfield sound; as authentic as when it first hit  AM radio airwaves and jukeboxes. Though built on this foundation of classic dancing, drinking, sing-along music from  George Jones, Waylon Jennings, Buck Owens, Ray Price, Merle Haggard and a slew of others, the band keeps things from getting predictable by mixing in their originals as well as some truly inspired, non-country covers; all arranged in that same feel-good, barroom style that could have come out of Nashville or Bakersfield in 1966.
